Acoustic box S "System Wichmann" ®. S = standard = sound decoupling of the acoustic box and cable route to improve the airborne sound values. The acoustic box S does not protect against fire events, but ensures quiet. It is particularly suitable for reducing unwanted noise transmission through cable routes in clinical areas, laboratories, studios and similar facilities. It consists of a sheet steel housing, which is equipped with pyramid-shaped waffle foam and is closed on both sides with highly sound-insulating SoniFoam plugs. The acoustic box S is available to match the usual dimensions of cable routes. In addition, the flexible fastening system and the cutting of the foam plugs allow adjustment to the widths of existing cable routes. The fastening system is designed in such a way that the acoustic box and cable route are largely sound-decoupled. The acoustic box can be opened and placed around the cable tray after the cable has been laid. Following the adjustment of the cable routes, the acoustic box is mortared into the existing wall opening. After closing the acoustic box with the supplied plugs, remaining openings are sealed with a permanently elastic sealant (e.g. silicone or acrylic). The assembly is carried out according to the enclosed assembly instructions. No processor certification is required for installation.

Akustikbox S „System Wichmann“ ®: Akustikbox S als Schallschutzdurchführung für Kabel und Kabeltragesysteme durch Wände und Decken. Akustikbox S, bestehend aus einem verzinkten Stahlblechgehäuse, ausgekleidet mit EasyFoam-Schallschutzmaterial. Das flexible Befestigungssystem ermöglicht ein Einhängen an der Kabeltrasse zur Schallentkopplung und leichteren Montage. Die Box ist teilbar, wird nach der Kabelverlegung um die Kabeltrasse gelegt und dann in der Wandöffnung vollflächig und fugendicht eingemörtelt. Nach Abschluss der Kabelbelegung erfolgt der beidseitige Verschluss der Box mit den beiliegenden SoniFoam-Stopfen, die passgenau zugeschnitten in die Öffnungen gepresst werden. Die Restöffnungen werden mit einem dauerelastischen Dichtstoff verschlossen. Die Akustikbox wird inkl. Montageanleitung und Güteschild geliefert. Geprüft nach DIN EN 20140-10 und DIN EN ISO 140-3. Die Tiefe der Box ist einheitlich 270 mm. Für den Einbau ist keine Verarbeiter-Zertifizierung notwendig. Schalldämmwerte: ohne Belegung Dn,e,w 55, Rw 34*; 50 % Belegung Dn.e.w 54, Rw 33* (*der resultierende Schallschutz ist abhängig von den Einbaubedingungen).
